Easy to use

Place the wristband on the wrist, turn on the base unit and you are good to go. No configuration necessary.

The wristband only requires 1 hour of charging a day, when the user is not alone. This could be during breakfast or dinner. Keeping track of seizures with Epi-Care free is easy: the base unit contains a journal with time and date of previous epileptic events etc.

Recognises tonic-clonic seizures

Epi-Care free is designed to register and alert in case of tonic-clonic epileptic seizures. It recognises the distinctive movements of a seizure. Epi-Care free does not react to everyday movements, for example when a person eats, reads or sleeps.

Can call a phone

There are several options for sending alarm calls to relatives or caretakers. Epi-Care free can be delivered with an incorporated GSM that can call the user’s family or carer’s phone. The only requirement is a SIM card. Epi-Care free GSM can alert most GSM based telecommunication equipment.

Call the distributor to hear if Epi-Care free can alert through your local telecommunication equipment or telephone or ask Danish Care Technology directly.
